- My very first attempt at constructing garments out of photographs -
I first found publicly accessible images online of dresses, corsets, shoes etc. and worked with them in photoshop to divide the pieces into multiple sections. I then enhanced and enlarged each individual image to my liking and printed them digitally. I pieced the sections back together like a puzzle! Using the medium of photography I produced impractical, although fashionable and stylized outfits! More to come!

This is a video of the very first fashion theatre show I had the pleasure of working on in May 2008. The show, Bedtime Stories, was hosted by style visionary SANDRA Roberts of Imago zine. The show included unique variations of clothing presentation by live vogue dancers, musicians, circus performers and video clips. My jewelry was featured amongst designs by Project Runway Canada winner Evan Biddell and many other talented designers.

I was also lucky enough to have modeled and provided jewelry for a photoshoot with Christabel designs (also featured at Bedtime Stories). Christabel produces eccentric, sometimes overwhelming costume pieces that are often introduced by the artist within silly short films.

When Clothes = BODY PAINT!

As you may have noticed in the footage from Bedtime Stories, many models wore more body paint than clothing! These intricately detailed body paintings are one of a kind designs hand painted by Sean Avram of BRAVO BODY ART. I've been fortunate enough to work with Sean at a couple of different events including Bedtime Stories, 2 of 3 monthly STILL PUSHY fashion shows, and Alternative Fashion Week 2009.
